Rodney Wyatt at Salute 2 Service

Rodney Wyatt, a Marine and Army Veteran, was working as a VA rep for the State prior to opening Salute 2 Service.

“I saw that Veterans’ needs weren’t being met — they were going to different places for different services and they needed a one-stop-shop.”

He founded Salute 2 Service in 2014 to provide outreach programs to Veterans in need and their families.

In 2017, he began partnering with Caring for Friends to provide fresh produce and shelf-stable items at his weekly food distribution.

“We wouldn’t have enough food to serve clients without Caring for Friends,” Rodney said.

In 2022, he moved into a new location in Newtown, Bucks County, and offers soup-to-nuts services, from a make-shift thrift store to job help, and, of course, food.

While food distributions are on Wednesdays, active duty military, Veterans, and their families can contact him whenever they need help thanks to this American hero.
