Aid for Friends is now known as Caring for Friends

“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”

Group and corporate involvement

If you’re looking for a group volunteering opportunity for your company, school, church, synagogue, community or service organization, consider engagement opportunities at Caring for Friends™, formerly known as Aid for Friends. It’s not only a rewarding and fulfilling experience, but can be a great team-building exercise as well!

Groups can also sponsor freezers, food distribution centers, or other needed projects. In addition, we appreciate monetary, food, and in-kind donations from organizations to help fund our activities.

Team-building opportunities

Looking for a different kind of team-bonding event, while also giving back to the community? Caring for Friends is eager to work with you!

Group activities include cooking and assembling Snack Bags, which are clear, plastic bags filled with nutritious nonperishable items. These are valuable to our client friends because the snacks help them get through the day in between meals. Friendship is part of everything we do. Volunteers include caring messages on cards in the bags, which mean a lot to our friends!

In addition to cooking and assembling Snack Bags, groups can also volunteer in our warehouse and office. Whatever your group size or specific need, we will work with you to plan an activity that is just right for you.
