Food for Those Facing Homelessness
We bring food and friendship to people living on the streets or in shelters.
Fighting Homeless Hunger
According to the Philadelphia Office of Homeless Services, approximately 8,206 unique people (including families) accessed emergency shelters in Philadelphia last year. In addition, numerous individuals were turned away from shelters due to limited capacity.
This is why we make and distribute food that doesn’t require cooking to eat, such as sandwiches, soups, and snack bags. This food is all prepared by individual or group volunteers in our warehouse in the Northeast and distributed to people facing homelessness in areas where there is significant need, such as Kensington and Love Park.
Each week, due to our network of volunteers, we are able to make and distribute 3,000+ servings of food to our friends living on the streets or in shelters.
We seek volunteers to help us make these sandwiches and snack bags and to distribute the food weekly. If you are interested in helping with this outreach, please contact our volunteer coordinator.
We Are Able to Provide Thousands of

Thanks to Our Donors!
You or your group can collect non-perishable food that can be used for cooking meals or for our snack bags.
Anyone can make a donation whether it be monetary, food, or in-kind, and we stretch your dollars further.
We rely on the generous monetary, food, and time donations from companies to help fulfill our mission of sharing food and friendship.
